KRAMER, COLANGELO, AND HARPER
TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME

Press Release: April 25, 2008

Cincinnati continues a tradition of recognizing the best in bowling across the area during their May 3rd induction ceremonies this year honoring two for Meritorious Service and one for Superior Performance.

Linda Kramer’s more than thirty years of service to the bowlers of Greater Cincinnati spans a wide variety of service and involvement from the local, regional, and league level. Linda’s induction showcases her hard work and dedication to the sport she loves.

Michele Colangelo’s twenty-plus years of bowling involvement has predominantly revolved around youth. A certified coach, Michele has been actively involved in youth bowling on the local, regional, and state level helping the youth of Greater Cincinnati and Ohio to grow not only in the sport but improve their lives through the sport.

Gloria Harper’s bowling achievements have graced Greater Cincinnati for over twenty years, and she has left her mark in the region and beyond as well, demonstrating time and time again that Greater Cincinnati bowlers are among the best in the nation.

These ladies will be honoring during the induction ceremonies at the Vernon Manor Hotel, Saturday evening, May 3rd.

CRYSTAL AICHELE - 2008 QUEEN
Match Play results from April 20, Super Bowl Bellewood

Determination and focus was the key for Crystal to win 7 matches and earn her prestigious title as the 2008 GC USBC WBA Queen. In 2007 Crystal came through the Winners Bracket and lost both games in the finals to Stacey Fehr. So, with experience under her belt and a goal in mind, she set her plan into action.

Crystal defeated three consecutive opponents before losing to Pam Campbell in the finals of the Winners Bracket. She met up with Linda Ashley, for the finals of the Contenders Bracket, and managed to give Linda her 2nd loss. Linda won her previous 5 matches following a loss the first match of the tournament. Pam Campbell was dominant through the Winners Bracket and knew she had her hands full when Crystal returned to bowl her again - this time for the title. Crystal stayed in control and defeated Pam 191-158 in the first game and 236-202 in the 2nd game.
